Update
BELGIUM - Recent changes in the lease registration laws mean it is
now the responsibility of the landlord to register the lease, whereas it
was previously up to the tenant. There is also no longer a fee for
registration.
NETHERLANDS - Nationals of the new EU Member States (Poland,
Hungary etc.) still require a work permit to work in the Netherlands. As
of January 1 2007 the barrier was supposed to be lifted, but the
decision has been postponed to 31 March 2007.
LUXEMBOURG - Non-EU citizens now need to be registered at the
City Hall within 3 days of arrival.
